What is Standard DEA?
DEA is a mathematical approach based on linear programming (an optimization method) and used to assess the relative efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) which may have multiple inputs and outputs. The term "standard DEA or so-called black-box DEA" refers to a decision system that has one stage (process) consumes inputs and produces outputs.
DEA has been applied in many fields and sectors such as healthcare, education, banking, supply chain, transportation, sports, R&D, energy, environment, among others.
How Can We Help You?
- Let you understand the main and most used concepts of DEA.
- Let you understand the mathematical models of the basic DEA models and terms.
- Help you to understand how to build your own DEA model and write its mathematical programs.
- We offer a separate Coaching Course for DEA Coding for the Network DEA using MATLAB.
- Let you understand how to analyze the DEA results.
In summary, we help you to understand how to run DEA from the first step (data collection and variable selection) to the analysis of the DEA results and generating the implications.
